Aygen Leyla Ayözger Özvardar

Aygen Leyla Ayözger Özvardar completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Middle East Technical University, followed by an MBA at Boston College.

Ayözger began her career at İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler, where she provided advisory services on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and privatization projects across various sectors. In 2005, she joined Doğan Holding’s Business Development Unit, where she was responsible for the Group’s M&A projects.

Between 2008 and 2011, Ayözger served as Head of the Energy Division, overseeing Petrol Ofisi operations and the Group’s other investments in the oil and gas sector. From 2011 to 2018, she served as Vice President of Business Development at Doğan Holding, leading the Holding’s and the Group’s M&A, strategic partnership, and divestment projects.

During her tenure at Doğan Holding, Ayözger managed projects of various scales across a wide range of sectors, including retail, energy, tourism, and industry, both in Türkiye and abroad. She also led major projects such as the Petrol Office - OMV partnership, the sale of Petrol Office, the Aytemiz partnership, and the sale of the Media Group companies and retail assets. Throughout this period, she also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at various Group companies.

Since 2018, Ayözger has served as Executive Board Member at Aytemiz Akaryakıt Dağıtım A.Ş., a Doğan Group affiliate, where she led the company’s transformation and subsequent sale processes. She also has experience in transformation management, partnership management, value-based transformation, and corporate governance.

Ayözger currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Doğan Yayıncılık and as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Board Members.
