Cem Önce

Cem Önce graduated from the Department of Economics at Middle East Technical University with a bachelor’s degree.

He began his career at Türk Ekonomi Bankası in 1989 and subsequently worked at Mobil Oil Türk A.Ş. between 1991 and 1996. In 1996, Önce joined BP GAZ - Türkiye, where he held various senior positions, including Internal Audit, Financial Controller, Sales Coordinator, Strategy Manager, Marketing and Sales Operations Manager, and LPG Project Manager, continuing in these roles until 2013.

Between 2013 and 2016, Cem Önce served as General Manager at Petgas A.Ş. From 2016 to 2022, he worked as an instructor in Strategy and Leadership at Istanbul Business School.

In 2019, he became one of the co-founders of Angel Effect - Angel Investment Network, providing mentorship and consultancy to startup and scaleup stage companies. Between 2018 and 2022, he served as Secretary General of the Turkish LPG Association, and from 2022 to 2024, he served as CEO of İntergen Genetic Diseases Assessment Center.

Currently continuing his consultancy work at Management Centre Türkiye, Cem Önce also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Maxis Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.
